O'Brother, Where art thou? O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? -
(Maumee Cimema)
A movie you walk out of not sure if you liked it or not! George Clooney, John Turturro, and Tim Blake Nelson did a great jobs of portaying 1930 escaped prisoners. The humor was bizarre somethimes but the Coen brothers ("Fargo") are known for that, enjoyable but don't think I would watch it again...
Chocolat

CHOCOLAT -
(Maumee Cimema)

Not sure I would call it a comedy, very sensative. It was narrated somewhat and a delightful movie to watch. The movie took place in the 1950's and the costomes were great. Enjoyed it a lot and would recommend this one!!

Save the Last Dance SAVE THE LAST DANCE - (pg-13)
(Maumee Cinema)
A great movie for all ages. It was kind of a female version of "Billy Elliot" (which was excellent).
A white girl (Julia Stiles) looses her mother and is forced to move to Chicago with a father she doesn't know. Her love of ballet is put on the back burner until she meets an African American young man (Sean Patrick) Thomas, who also loves dancing.
The music and dancing are great; very entertaining.
Wedding Planner

THE WEDDING PLANNER -
(Carmike Findlay 6 movie theater.)
Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey do a half decent job but a lot of slow spots!! It's comedy about a wedding planner who falls for one of her client's fiance'. Number one, on the charts, for second week in a row but not in by book.

State and Main

STATE and MAIN -
(Southwyke Cinema)
It is a very good, funny, romatic, adult comedy about the movie the making business.
How they will try anything to get their movie made, written and directed by David Mamet. It is worth seeing.

The Pledge THE PLEDGE -
(Maumee Cimema)
Did not care for it. I have always like Jack Nicholson; this reminded me of his role in "The Shining". I was slow and hard to follow in a lot of parts.
It's about a retired policeman who buys a business in a small town but is obsessed about a murder. A really confusing movie with a dumb ending!! Even went all the way to the Maumee Cinema to see is. only 1 1/2 m&m's.
