Our membership is strictly on a voluntary basis. On behalf of the Fostoria Community Band, I would encourage you to join our ranks. We are always in need of musicians. We realize that individuals have other commitments and therefore cannot always be available for a given concert; so in order to ensure the proper numbers needed to perform any given concert, we need you.
We practice at 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings in the Fostoria High School band room. We have a small, but increasing, library of music from which we select the music for the concerts. We also try to purchase several new pieces for the Christmas and Spring concerts and also to keep current with the trends in music.
