ACTIVITIES
Let Freedom Ring project was continued.
Gifts to Sandra Barfield for extra tuition and incidentals.
Purchased 10 litter cans, costing $150.00, for Anti-Litter Campaign.
Film “Let’s Keep America Beautiful” was shown in schools and viewed by 3,374 persons.
Vocational Counseling was given to St. Wendelin students.
Gave Sandra Haworth Feidler $205.77 for tuition at Fostoria Academic Center of Bowling Green State University for text books.
Purchased 50 copies of “So Proudly We Hail” and presented copies to each school, service club and library.
Received Lift Award for efforts to beautify city through Anti-Litter Campaign.
Donated $50.00 to Kaubisch Memorial Library.
Members donated more than 50 books to be sent to U.S. Information Centers abroad.
Altrusa International Fiftieth Anniversary commemorated with skit “Fifty Fruitful Years.”
Purchased 24 books, costing $18.00, for Spanish American classes for adults.
Contribution of $50.00 was made to Founders Fund.
Contribution of $80.00 was made to Grants in Aid.
Country Store project netted $285.60.
