Fostoria Sounds of Summer 
  Performances planned in Meadowlark, & Gray parks
 
    Big bands, choral groups, small, concert, and specialty bands will bring a variety of jazz, patrotic, rock, country, barbershop and other choral and barbershop sounds to the Fostoria this summer.
    The 2002 Summer Concert Series features performances at Meadowlark Parks' Wainwright Amphiteatre, Gray Park and the Fostoria Glass & Heritage Festival this June, July and August.
    A series of six concerts will take place at Wainwright Amphitheatre at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of June through August.
    Two additional concerts will be preformed on the "Old First Tee" at Gray Park starting at 4:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of July and August.
    A variety of entertainers is scheduled to fill the downtown streets with music for the Fostoria Glass & Heritage Festival on July 12th & 13th

July 14 -- (555th) ANG Band of the Great Lakes;                 This concert will feature barbecue                     chicken dinners available from 4:45 to                 6:45 p.m.  tickets are available from                 Fostoria Shrine Club members.

Aug 11 -- Gene Parker Jazz Quintet

                4 p.m. "Inter-City Connection," a pop-                rock and standards.
                8 to 11:30 p.m., "Hanson Brothers, "                 offering retro 1950s-1980s
