A tracker, Bonham (Tommy Lee Jones) is retired trainer in the special services and is called into action to hunt down Hallam (Benicio Del Toro) a former agent whom he has trained to be a killer. He teams up with FBI agent Abby Durrell (Connie Nielsen) to hune down the assassin. It has lots of suspense and Hallam is always one step ahead. Also stars Leslie Stefanson and Jenna Boyd. Directed by William Friedkin.
Tears of the Sun "Tears of the Sun" rated R
Bruce Willis plays the leader of a special group sent to Nigeria to rescue a doctor (Monica Bellucci)., 2 nuns and a priest. She refuses to go if they do not take 70 African refugees, and Willis decides to defend them and try to rescue all of them. Lots of action, but a little long. Also stars Cole Hauser, Tom Skerritt, Charles Ingram, and Johnny Messner. Directed by Antoine Fuqua.
Willard "Willard" rated pg-13. 30 year-old Willard (Crispin Glover) is haunted by his dead father, suffocated by his invilad mother, and in a dead end job. He discovers rats in his basement and discovers he can communicate with them, he suddenly has friends. He works at his fathers' factory for former partner Frank Martin (R. Lee Ermey) and only has his job because it was in his fathers' agreement. He sends his "new friends" to seek revenge, they are led by the famous Ben. Also stars Laura Harring and Jackie Burroughs. Written, produced and directed by Glen Morgan.
The Quiet American "The Quiet American" rated R
A murder mystery set against the French Indochina War in Vietnam in 1952. It is the story of a veteran English journalist (Michael Caine), a young American (Brendan Fraser) and a beautiful Vietnamese woman caught tetween them. The young American is murdered and plot centers around opium, intrigue and betrayal. based on the novel by Graham Greene, I liked this one. also stars Do Thi Hai Yen, Ryan Hurst, Robert Stanton and Tzi Ma. Directed by Phillip Noyce.
Bringing Down the House "Bringing Down the House" rated pg-13
Peter Sanderson (Steve Martin) is a divorced, straight-laced lawyer who still loves his ex-wife Kate (Jean Smart). Peter begins an on-line relationship with Charlene (Queen Latifah) and is under the impression she is a pretty attorney. He finally meets Charlene and is shocked to find out what she lookd like and that she has escaped from prison. It is hilarious and Steve Martin outdoes himself with humor. Also stars Joan Plowright, Betty White, and Eugene Levy. Written by Jason Filardi and directed by Adam Shankman.
Dark Blue "Dark Blue" rated R
Set in LA in april 1992, it takes place just days before the acquittal of four white officers in the beating of Rodney King and the LA riots. Special investigator, Eldon Perry (Kurt Russell) and rookie Bobby Keough (Scott Speedman) are assigned to a high profile case, but are told to blame the wrong criminals. Assistant Chief Holland (Ving Rhames) threatens to end Perry's brand of single-handed "justice" on the LA streets. In a turnaround, Perry also takes a stand. Violence but good story line. Also stars Brendan Gleeson and Michael Michele. Written by David Ayer and James Ellroy and directed by Ron Shelton.

David Gale (Kevin Spacey) is a man who has tried hard to live by the principles but seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Accused of rape and acquited, he is accused of murdering a co-worker and ends up on death row. An opponent of the death penalty, he hires Bitsey Bloom (Kate Winslet) to write his story. Along the way Betsey finds evidence that David Gale could be innocent. based on novel by Dewey Gram, produced by Alan Parker, Nicolas Cage, and Jeff Levine, and directed by Alan Parker

Andie Anderson (Kate Hudson) a writer for Composure Magazine is trying to find an unusual assigntment and hits on somthing about men. She has a quick deadline and a really nervous editor and decides to find a guy, lure him in and then drop him. That guy happens to be Benjamin Barry (Matthew Mcconaughey) who she finds in a bar, well he happens to have a bet with his friends that he can do th same thing. The relationship escalates and they find themselves in love., cute movie also stars Adam Goldberg, Kathryn Hahn and Michael Michele. Directed by Donald Petrie.
Bowling for Columbine "Bowling for Columbine" rated R
Excellent documentary. This is about the American obsession with guns and violence. Actual interviews with Charlton Heston, and trying to interview Dick Clark. There are a lot of facts and figures on guns and the focus in on Columbine and Flint, Michigan. Worth seeing. Directed and written by Michael Moore.
